What is a ‘Dual Spectrum’ Camera? The Camera has both an optical and a thermal lens to capture heat signatures and data that a standard optical camera can not. The images display on one of your NVR’s IP channels but you see two different images. You may be familiar with thermal imaging and how it can capture information based on heat signatures. If so, you know that thermal images can be extremely useful in the right environment. TIC2621SR-F3-4F4AC-VD Active Deterrence: In addition to Thermal and Optical imaging, the TIC2621 has several Active Deterrence features included. The camera includes a built in Microphone and Speaker as well as a Red and Blue Alarm light. That means that you can set parameters for setting off the audio and light alarms automatically.   With 164′ of IR Illumination and Smart IR, you are sure to get deeply enhanced nighttime images on the optical side. With an extreme temperature range of -40°F to 158°F (Optical) and -14°F to 122°F (Thermal) you can certainly use this IP Camera in harsher environments. If you lose your network connection, the camera can record on board so you do not miss your data. Once your network connection is restored, the data is automatically transferred to your NVR.
